The IR can be use in document examination and new enhanced UV system provides improved fluorescence contrasting for use in forensics, biomedical or machine vision applications. The ability to switch from white light to fluorescent UV as well as on/off provides the user flexibility and versatility.
Note: this variable-type lighting model can switch between UV and IR lighting, and does not contain a filter for visible light. Imaging in UV and IR will be most effective at distances of less than 3 inches. For options with visible light filters, please see AM413FIT (IR) or AM4013FVT (UV).
