What is an Open Box item?

Open Box items have been opened and touched and/or returned. Because they originate from different situations, they may or may not include accessories, documentation or retail packaging. Refurbishment is done by the manufacturer. Open Box products are warranted for only 30 days because of their unusual low selling price. We recommend that you try out your Open Box product immediately after receiving it.

What is the product return policy for Futureusa.com?

Products sold by Futureusa.com are supported by our Standard Return Policy unless otherwise indicated. Merchandise covered by our Standard Return Policy may be returned within 14 days of the original invoice date for a refund or replacement.

All returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Because many companies offer additional factory coverage, you should contact the manufacturer directly for information regarding eligibility and specific Terms and Conditions.

What is Futureusa.com's Software Return Policy?

Retail Boxed software may only be returned for refund within 14 days of the invoice date if the packaging is unopened and factory sealed. Opened retail boxed software can only be returned for replacement if it is defective or damaged. You may exchange defective software for an identical replacement by contacting Futureusa.com Customer Service and acquiring an RMA number. No software returns will be accepted after 14 days.

What are Recertified (Refurbished) products?

Products described as “Recertified” are products which have been retested to ensure compliance with original manufacturer specifications in function and for purposes related to warranty.
“Recertified” products may include a limited manufacturer warranty – see the items product page on our website for details

Recertified products may be any of the following:

  • A product that has never been used, where the outside factory seal has been broken. This can be due to a cancelled order for example.
  • A product returned to the original manufacturers that were used in field tests, sales displays or demonstrations.
  • A product that have been returned for warranty service, which have been brought to manufacturer specifications.
  • A product that have been returned for reasons other than defect. These items are sent to the manufacturer for inspection and testing. The passing products are then repackaged as recertified.
  • A product where the box was damaged in shipment and is then returned to the manufacturer.

Does Futureusa.com offer a money-back guarantee?

Futureusa.com allows most products to be returned for a refund within 14 days of the invoice date. Exceptions may be noted within the product's Return Policy.   A 15% restocking fee will apply for all refunds of non-defective products. Additional deductions may be made for some products, depending on current market value.

What happens when an item is out-of-stock?

When item you order is not in stock, we will notify you within 2 business days and offer you a similar product or cancel your order.

Will Futureusa.com test parts or assemble a system using the components I purchase?

Sorry, Futureusa.com does not build, assemble or test computer or electronics components.

Can Futureusa.com advise me of whether the components I am purchasing are compatible?

We do not offer any technical assistance. We also do not offer advice on compatibility of items. We sell ONLY individual Hardware and Software items. We are not technicians, only quality retailers with low prices. Please contact the manufacturers for accurate answers to your technical questions.

Does Futureusa.com know the estimated time of arrival for out-of-stock merchandise?

Occasionally, we post the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) for popular products that are out of stock. Otherwise, we do not offer ETA on products, due to industry intangibles.  Out of stock products that remain listed on our website are usually in stock within a week or so.

If we expect that a product will be out of stock for an extended period of time, we will remove its listing from our website.Occasionally, we post the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) for popular products that are out of stock. Otherwise, we do not offer ETA on products, due to industry intangibles. We provide an Auto-Notify button for your convenience. Out of stock products that remain listed on our website are usually in stock within a week or so. The price of an item I purchased has dropped prior to shipment. Is it possible to get a refund of the difference?

Futureusa does not offer any price guarantees, because industry prices change too often and too fast. If your order has not shipped, you can cancel the order online and re-order to take advantage of the new prices. All prices are as posted at the time of purchase.

Can Futureusa.com Customer Support agents physically obtain a product and describe it to me?

Unfortunately, because our inventory is stored in our warehouses, apart from our customer service offices, our agents cannot physically acquire any product to describe it for you. All product information we have is displayed on our website.

Does Futureusa.com offer any technical support or advice?

We do not offer any technical assistance. Please contact the manufacturers for accurate answers to your technical questions and for insight on how different products interact together.
